Audience Product
Having an opt-in status for the Audience Product in the Publisher Center means that you agree to Kontera’s Service Agreement found here.
Audience Product Overview
Kontera’s Audience Product allows advertisers to identify users that express interest in their campaigns and then remarket (display additional banners) to these same users when they are found on other sites. To participate in the Kontera Audience Program:
- Review Kontera’s Service Agreement found here.
- If you agree to the terms of the aforementioned agreement, opt-in to the Audience Product in the Publisher Center’s Site Settings section found in the Kontera Setup tab.
-
Add content to your privacy policy that includes the universal NAI user opt-out link:
We use third-party companies to serve ads and collect non-personally identifiable information (e.g., the pages you visit, and which links you click, which ads you see and click on, and the categories of search terms you enter) when you visit our web site. These companies may use the information outlined above (which does not include your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. These companies often use a cookie or third party web beacon to collect this information. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, visit this link to the NAI universal user opt-out. - We also strongly recommend you add a link from every page where your site allows collection of user information to your privacy policy, preferably directly to the boilerplate language section. If you already have Google’s privacy language on your Privacy Policy page, that should be sufficient. However, Google’s opt-out will need to be supplemented with the link to NAI universal opt-out.
If you opt- in to the Audience Product, you are bound by the terms in Kontera’s Service Agreement and agree to add the suggested content and link to your privacy policy.
If you choose to opt-out of the Audience Program, your use of and agreement terms for Kontera’s other products remains in effect without change.
Lastly, Kontera wants to reassure our publisher partners that we recognize that these new services carry a great deal of concern over user privacy. Kontera takes user privacy extremely seriously. Kontera has been working hard to make sure we are completely compliant with the privacy practices already standard in the marketplace today, even exceeding them, prior to launching these new products.

We will provide easy user opt-outs and will not collect any personally identifiable information (something that we have never done). We also avoid any potentially sensitive information such as health related issues, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mature content, violence, disasters, etc. for retargeting and other data collection practices.
