Muchnick brings two decades of advertising technology and marketing services experience from Operative, DoubleClick, LowerMyBills and Experian
San Francisco, CA, October 21, 2008 – Kontera, the leading developer of In-Text Advertising & Information Solutions for web publishers and advertisers, announced today that Mr. Hal Muchnick has joined the company as President.
Hal joins Kontera after spending more than 20 years in senior management, operations and marketing positions at market leaders in the interactive digital advertising and marketing services industries.
In his most recent position, Hal served as Executive Vice President / General Manager at Operative, a global advertising resource management (ARM) platform provider, where he oversaw global sales and professional and client services in addition to his executive responsibilities as part of the Company’s management team and Board of Directors.
Previously, Hal served as Vice President, Global Sales and Account Management for DoubleClick, where he was responsible for revenue and customer growth in the web publisher, interactive agency, and Rich Media segments. Prior to DoubleClick, Hal was Chief Operating Officer of LowerMyBills.com, where he was responsible for technology, product, sales and marketing. Hal spent over 10 years at Experian, which he helped evolve from a TRW operating unit into a stand-alone marketing information services company.

Bryan has led the US operations for the past two years and has been a key contributor to the rapid growth Kontera is currently experiencing.
