Austin-based Pluck's has launched a new content widget, which parses web pages and provides relevant links to related content, called Pluck On Demand. The new widget, which was launched through Pluck parent Demand Media, is targeted at publishers and other content creators looking to enhance their web site with links to related articles and videos. According to Demand Media, the new self-service product is launching with relationships with Tribune Media Services, Encyclopedia Britannica, IAC, Kontera and FreeWebs. According to Demand Media, the widget also gives access to comments, ratings, recommendations, and user profile features for publishers to create a community on their site.
