Account Executive, New York City
Reports to: Director, Advertising Sales

Summary of position:

The Account Executive will be responsible for building partnerships with advertising agencies and direct advertisers. You must be comfortable with selling over the phone via cold calling as well as in high level face to face meetings, closing multiple accounts on a weekly basis, and working in a fast-paced small team environment. You must possess a proven sales track record and have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry, preferably in the in-content advertising space. You will leverage your current network of contacts such that you can “hit the ground running”.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell in-content advertising to advertising agencies and direct advertisers
  • Proactively prospect and qualify potential new advertisers
  • Communicate the value of ContentLink™ to advertising agencies and advertisers
  • Exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Execute in a fast-paced small team environment

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in advertising sales, business development and/or online marketing – including at least one year of direct selling
  • Network of “current” contacts within agency world a big plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Track record of setting and achieving goals and quotas
  • Proactive, driven, self-thinker who strives for results
  • Positive, team player who thrives in a fun, team environment
  • Some travel may be required

Senior Product Marketing Manager New York, NY

The product marketing manager will be focusing primarily on Kontera's new product - the Kontera Hybrid (http://www.kontera.com/kontera-hybrid). The Senior Product Manager (SPM) will be in charge of both leading the product's roadmap based on market feedback, publisher needs, and market / competitive analysis, as well as driving successful engagements and integrations with publishers. The SPM must be able to understand the technology and product nuances as well as feel comfortable and effective in a business environment with potential publishers, partners, and existing relationships. This position reports to the VP Product and works directly with business development, marketing, sales, and product team members.
This role requires a passion for Kontera's products and services sound technological understanding, expertise in strategic product and marketing thinking, organizational agility, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Gather product requirements from internal and external sources based on market analysis, business opportunities, and the competitive landscape.

  • Work with inbound product management in order to transform the product requirements into actionable prioritized development plans.

Sales readiness

  • Plan and define the go-to-market initiatives that will be executed by marketing communications.

  • Segment the publisher market and prepare detailed segment profiles, based on market research, in order to refine sales process per each segment.

  • Case studies: responsible for creating, in collaboration with marketing communications, publisher case studies that combine both input from the publisher, metrics, and market insight.

  • Competitive SWOT analyses, owner of the competition matrix, produce relevant material to assist the sales process.

Deal support

  • Support the direct and indirect sales efforts with market and product expertise.

  • Contribute to specific publisher presentations and sales materials.

  • Define requirements for custom demos and mockups.

  • Participate in meetings, physically or on the phone, and provide the "tech expert" perspective for all questions, concerns, and customization requirements.

  • Follow-up with prospect publisher's product teams in order to push the sales process forward via successful integration, testing, metrics monitoring, optimization, and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree in a related field

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge and ability to understand and evangelize the importance of the end-user experience within the online advertising realm.

  • Exhibit competencies such as strategic thinking, organizational agility, negotiation and excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Technology savvy. Ability to have a deep understanding of how technology works.

  • Sound familiarity with the online advertising and content industries; business models, products, and main content publishers, service providers, and technology vendors.

  • Strong MS Power Point skills

  • MBA is an advantage

Manager of Technical Operations, San Francisco

Summary of Position: 

To assimilate development versions in production, be responsible for the production environment, technical interface with various functions of Sales, Operations etc. & Problem solving.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Java/C++ ,web applications programming and script language (perl, pyton, ruby etc)
  • Hands on work with Database and web server (preferably LAMP )
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environment, including scripting, configuration etc
  • Team leading experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate with various functions
  • Ability to work under pressure and be a part of 24x7 coverage!!!
  • US citizenship / green card is a big plus (if you have an H1B visa we will take care of the transfer)

Summary of position:

Product Manager – Inbound - Israel

Summary of position:

The Senior Product Manager (SPM) will be responsible for managing the development and progress of Kontera’s new product – The Hybrid. The SPM will report to the Vice President Product and will work with R&D, Product team members, marketing, business developments, and external entities to achieve the product development’s objectives. The position is mostly inbound meaning that it focuses on gathering requirements from Kontera’s Product Marketing, Marketing, Business Development, and Sales team members combining that with self gathered market intelligence, technological knowledge, and internal constraints to plan and execute the development and deployment of a best of breed product. The SPM will be working closely with R&D and QA utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodology in order to verify the company's overall strategy and goals are met for this product.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from external and internal resources
  • Work closely with the VP Product to provide support on various initiative
  • Product Owner under the Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Work closely with R&D and QA throughout  the development and deployment cycle
  • Prepare product requirements, backlog, and prioritization
  • Develop and execute product optimization plan via testing and analysis
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and present interpretation and optimization recommendation
  • Help define product roadmap
  • Work with internal and external designers on visual product aspects
  • Support specific partner implementations via short term project execution
  • Daily monitoring, issue handling, and notifications

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or related
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product or Project  Manager
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Experience in a product related position  in the Internet or web applications market
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and  interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Masters degree in relevant field is an advantage
  • Experience with Internet applications and advertising is an advantage
